Anyway, kissing a woman’s hand was one of the ways for a man to demonstrate his reverence of women.
There is nothing romantic about it. At least at first. It was Hollywood and Hollywood alone that is solely responsible for it being viewed in a romantic manner.
It is just a form of greeting.
As a matter of fact it is the way to greet married women and old ladies. It is not the way to greet young single ladies. Some parts of Europe didn’t mind that rule as time went on and gentlemen would kiss whatever hand was offered to them no matter how improper it was. …
I was looking through some old folders and I came across old songs that I had written. Some of them where written as far back as 15 years ago. These songs where never even recorded and they probably never will as my rap style has changed and my interests have grown. However I figured it’s still valuable as a collector’s item so I decided to publish it in written form. I hope you enjoy it.
…Make kids see that the world is built to reward those who excel in school and place them above those who fail in school.
Let them see that all those who have a job and make more money than their Dad do so because they did better than their Dad in school when they where kids. If their Dad had done better he would be earning more money than them today.
You should make kids see that the difference between them living in a big house vs them living in a shabby studio apartment in a dangerous neighborhood when they are 60 years old depends on their academic performance today.
