Audio Broadcast Description:
In this broadcast, Pastor Alfred uses 2 Kings 13:15-19 to explain the fact that a lot of times the difference between a little and a lot is a little.
A little could make a huge difference and it does a lot of the time.
This is true in a lot of matters especially in business and finance.
For example, if you a car dealer you wants to sell a car; you can sell the same car for up to 4 even more than twice the price if it is washed than if it is on washed.
A customer can look at the car when it is unwashed and not look at it twice. They could think it is a most disgusting and ugly looking thing on the car lot and may even feel insulted If you ask them to buy it.
However, if that very same car was washed and they didn’t know it was the same car, the value would more than double in their eyes and you’ll be able to sell that car for more than double the price to the same person who rejected that same car for less than half the price when it was dirty.
Just a little thing like washing the car made all the difference.
A car manufacturer that produces a car with inbuilt Android tablets for entertainment in the car seats car sell his car for 10 times the price of a car that doesn’t come with that feature. even though you can buy an android tablets as well as a car seat jacket with charging ports and attach to a car that has a price tag that is 20 times less.
You can even have inbuilt android tablets to be customised into any car for nickels and dimes when compared to the price of the car lighting manufacturer produced with the android tablets inbuilt for an entertainment system.
Just a little thing like adding android tablets inside during the manufacturing process has made the manufacturer billions more than he would have made otherwise.
If you were to try to explain to a customer that he can buy any car and attach an android tablet to it for an entertainment system he will not understand and he will still insist to buy the super expensive car that came with the android tablets inbuilt as long as he has the money.
So be that manufacturer or producer who adds that little thing to his product or service that makes all the difference between simple profits and extra ordinary profits.
What is the difference between two restaurants who both have remarkable food and are both located around the same area of the same city? Why do people patronise one more than the other even though their advertising budget may be about the same?
The reason is often a little thing.
A simple thing like one restaurant being kept much more cleaner than the other could make all the difference.
A simple thing like one restaurant having staff who are happy and greet customers with smiles could be the little thing that makes all the difference.
What’s the price difference between a house with a swimming pool and a house that does not have a swimming pool but has the space for a swimming pool?
Why does the house that has the already built swimming pool have to sell for 2 times or sometimes 3 times the price of a house that does not have a swimming pool but has the space for perhaps even 2 or 3 swimming pools?
What is the difference between luxury items and cheap items. It’s always little things.
The little things matter a lot.
Often times, the difference between you and the people who are where you would like to be are just the little things.
Always keep an eye on the little things and pay attention to the details.
Never Forget This Pastor Alfred Quote:
Expensive things are simply cheap things that can be sold for a super expensive price because of a few cheap features added to it. Plus the fact that the manufacturer or creator is bold enough to give it a unique brand identity and attach a large price tag to it.
