Audio Broadcast Description:

In this broadcast, Pastor Alfred talks about the importance of not resting on your laurels.
Your successes of yesterday are wonderful. However, your successes of yesterday are yesterday, what about today?
It is your today that determines your tomorrow not your yesterday.
What you did yesterday created your today. Your yesterday is the architect of your today but it is not the architect of your tomorrow. That job has already been given to your today it is not negotiable.
If you build nothing today you are in fact building something. Something called failure.
Make sure you don’t waste all the progress you’ve made by stopping to do what you have always done that have gotten you to where you are today. Keep on doing it and it will take you to higher heights tomorrow.
Someone once said that the ladder that you used to take you to the level that you are right now, do not throw it away. Take that ladder with you and use it to climb to greater heights.
In other words, if for example; reading frequently was the ladder you used to get you to where you are right now, then don’t throw away reading frequently when you have reached a higher level. Take that ladder of reading frequently with you and it will take you to greater heights.

Scriptures Referenced In This Broadcast:

Philippians 3:13-14 KJV
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 4:20-23 KJV
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. [21] Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. [22] For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. [23] Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
