Audio Broadcast Description:

Seeking popularity especially in High School has been seen as a bad thing, and their numerous example of peoples whose lives were ruined or who ruined people’s lives all because of popularity.

Popularity is not a bad thing and seeking popularity is not a bad thing either.

It is reason & motive behind why you are seeking popularity that makes it Good or Bad.

Is your Quest for popularity for yourself or is it for others?
Is it about you or is it about others?
Is it about feeding your selfish desire for getting famous and being admired or Is it about getting a higher and a larger platform to help more people than you are already currently helping?

Your popularity should not be about you, it should be about God.

There is nothing wrong with popularity. God wants you to be popular but your popularity must have a purpose.

The purpose of your popularity should be for your light to shine to the whole world and point the whole world to Christ.

When the focus in your heart is on influencing people for Christ and changing the world for good and not about you being admired and being a star; your popularity is not toxic, it is not negative, it is a blessing, it is God’s will, it is Righteous, it is Noble, it is Holy.

In this broadcast, Pastor Alfred also breaks down the popular phrase by T.L & Daisy Osborn:
“Work On Becoming Not On Having, Because With What You Become You Would Have.”
