Audio Broadcast Description:
In this broadcast Pastor Alfred talks about the Flaws that people can immediately see when they look at you and how it affects other things that might seem to have nothing at all to do with the flaw.
However, things are not as disconnected as you might think because the presence of a particular flaw could be interpreted as a sure result of a lack of an important virtue that is required for you to be considered suitable or appropriate for something else.
For example if you are overweight you may look at it as just meaning that you are fat. However, it can (and it is) also be interpreted as you are undisciplined and therefore untrustworthy in positions that require great discipline.
Whether consciously or unconsciously that is what people see, especially people that matter and have the influence over your advancement in the workplace.
Another example of an obvious flaw is your clothes not being regularly pressed.
You may not think it has anything to do with your promotion at your workplace because of your academic accolades and your stellar performance at your job but your clothes not being regularly pressed tells of your irresponsibility. Therefore you cannot be trusted with a position of authority or given any serious authority because the first thing people see when they look at you appearance is your irresponsibility. Therefore it is what they think of whenever your name comes up.
You are not boss material. You are not managerial material even though you are an asset to the company.
Another example of an obvious flaw is poor social skills. You just don’t know how to get along with people.
That just means that there is no point of making you Project Manager or promoting you in the company you work for since you can’t get along with others. Even a drunkard will not promote you to a managerial position when you can’t get along with others, no matter how intelligent you are for how excellent your insight into that industry is.
There are an innumerable stream of obvious flaws it is up to you to notice and to fix the ones you have.
Once you do, you’ll notice that your life we keep on going higher and higher and higher and higher in the workplace; and even in other areas of your life.
Scriptures Referenced In This Broadcast:
Matthew 25:1-12 KJV
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so ; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
